An RSS feed (or news feed) is a means by which you can stay informed about what's going on at The Arlingtones without having to regularly visit the website.

Develop and coordinate a music leadership team and facilitate regular chapter music program planning .

Evaluate the development and implementation learning programs (i.e. Quartet Development, Youth, craft and personal instruction)
Plan the rehearsal segments of chapter meetings with the chorus director, as appropriate.
Direct and oversee the activities of support committee/team members. Specifically, those who are not directly involved in the teaching aspect of the music program and could include chorus manager, contest coordinators, uniform leaders, librarians, and quartet activity coordinators, etc.
Serve as a liaison between the Chorus Director, Associate Directors, Assistant Directors and the Board of Directors.
Attend any scheduled Society, District, or local training schools, seminars, etc.
Promptly handle any requests made by the District or Society.
Develop and Implement a plan for Chapter related to internal (chapter/district) and external (public and media) audiences and promote the chapter and Society.
Facilitate the development of promotional material (i.e. flyers, brochures, web content, etc.) by utilizing known or outside resources (graphic designers, printers, photographers, etc.) to share the story and mission of the chapter and Society.
Maintain and facilitate the maintenance of a presence online (website, social media, etc.)
Lead effective communication and promotion of informative chapter activities through internal communication (i.e. newsletters, bulletins, etc.) and general external audiences (social media, website, etc.)
Build and maintain relationships between chapter, media, local arts organization and other Society chapters.
Attend any scheduled Society, District or local training schools, seminars, etc.
Promptly handle any requests made by the District or Society.
The Immediate Past President is not elected. This position is automatically filled after the end of a President's term. The position's responsibilities include:
Assist the current president and board in whichever tasks necessary
Provide continuity of information from year to year within the board
May serve as an appropriate Nominating Committee chair to help foster and cultivate future leaders of the chapter.
Attend any scheduled Society, District or local training schools, seminars, etc.
Promptly handle any requests made by the District or Society.
Assist the chorus director and assistant/associate directors in the musical preparation of the chorus for annual shows, contests, and other public music events in which the chorus sings
Participate in prospective chorus members musical fitness evaluation
Assist guests and new members by providing support (i.e. introducing them to other members in their section, leaders of the chapter/chorus, etc.)
Assist in the preparation of a 1, 3, and 5-year musical plan
Build and maintain relationships with outside coaches and local music educators
Attend any scheduled Society, District or local training schools, seminars, etc.
